This well rounded program is directed by Jennifer Jacks, a Senior Ladies competitor and Skate Canada professional coach and choreographer. We welcome skaters of all stages of ability from the learn to skate and CanSkate level, through to the STARSkate and Competitive streams. The skaters will be divided in groups according to their skating ability so that they will be able to get the most out of their experience. Ages 8 - 18 are welcome.

Regardless of your skill level you will have the opportunity each day to challenge yourself on the ice through all aspects of the sport including jumps, spins, edges, power, footwork, field moves, creative expression, and music interpretation. Special guests will also be joining us throughout the week! (Summer of 2008's guests included Barbara Underhill - World Champion Figure Skater, Chris Mabee - 2007 Canadian Silver Medalist & World Competitor, Katherine de Repentigny - 2007 Junior Eastern Challenge Champion & 2008 Senior National Competitor, Ryan Lesperance - Strength and Conditioning Specialist for skaters at Mariposa's International Training Center, and Janet Jacks - Host of "Just for the Health of it" radio show for over 10 years, and Co-owner of GoodnessMe! Off-ice conditioning classes will be running each week day focusing on developing cardio, strength, balance, and flexibility. And finally, we will have motivational lectures or guest speakers on topics such as goal setting, proper warm-ups, nutrition, and 'stories from the stars'.

Skaters will also have the opportunity to participate in daily camp activities during their free time such as horse back riding, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, giant swing, rock climbing, etc., and in structured camp activities during the evenings with the campers in other programs such as wide games and campfires.
