Skills & Skating



This is not a learn to skate program. The objective of this program is to teach and reinforce skating principles, plus develop sound skating habits. Focus is placed on skating skills including: stops & starts, balance, crossovers, backward skating, full edge utilization. WEDNESDAYS 5:30 - 7:00pm for 6-12 year olds. 

Cost:
$150/ 6 weeks, 1.5 hour sessions.

  • 1st Sesson: September 16, 2009 - October 21, 2009
  • 2nd Session: November 4, 2009 - December 9, 2009
  • 3rd Session: January 6, 2010 - Febuary 10, 2010
  • 4th Session: Febuary 24, 2010 - April 7, 2010

What to Bring

To participate in the skating skills program you must have full hockey equipment. While no puck handling is carried out, it is important that the kids have a stick to ensure they are comfortable with skating while holding the stick. Full payment confirms acceptance into programs. Refunds are not applicable upon commencement of programs. All programs are conducted by Teen Ranch in house hockey instructors. To register, please come to the Ice Corral - we cannot take registration by telephone.
